TINY TATS!!!
Ever since I can remember, I have wanted to get a tattoo. It wasn’t until my 18th birthday when I finally got the chance. My mom and I struggled with what to get as it would be both of our first tattoos. We went back and forth between so many things until she sent me a text saying “I love you to the moon and back.” I smiled and all of my friends who I was with were so confused why I was weirdly smiling ear to ear at my phone. I jumped up and called my mom who was at work. I said “that’s it.” She responded, “what’s it…What are you talking about!” I answered asking her what she used to say to me every night before I went to bed, every morning and every time I left the house. In that moment, we knew we had chosen the perfect saying for our very first tattoos.
This little moon sparked my interest for all my other tiny tats. Currently, I have 4 tattoos that I am absolutely in love with. The rose on my elbow was my second tattoo. It represents growth, balance and new beginnings. It was also the name of my great grandmother who my middle name is inspired by. My next one is the letter “K” on my rib for Kessler. And lastly, my newest addition, the lightning bolt. My mom and I also got this one together meaning strength and power.
